The Leviathan’s Gift

The Leviathan’s Gift

from $95.00

This hilt was designed with deep oceans and rough waves in mind. Heavy brass and water corrosion resistant materials were a must. Super robust texturing helps if the user is wearing gloves or possibly has webbed fingers or tentacles. A shielded/windowed emitter shield ensures when wet or underwater. Built thick and heavy to help give weight to underwater maneuvering.

CONSTRUCTION/CUSTOMIZATION

All my hilts are designed with a steel threaded rod running down the middle for structural stability as well as working with the emitter/pommel(each have a sunken steel bolt) to combine the unit. The ends twist on, allowing the owner to customize the order of the components, their orientation and swap in new parts at any time down the road.

WEIGHT = 12.8 oz

LENGTH = 11.12 inches

WIDTH = 1.5 inches at grip 1.87 at the widest part of the switch assembly

FYI/CYA DISCLAIMER

The following is a fictional break down of the physical features of the hilt. These are the features I envisioned while I was designing it. Sadly the hilt will not actually produce a cutting blade and is made of resin, not metal.)

THE GOODS

Emitter/Shield- A two-part design. The shielding is water-resistant brass with an integral mag shield to keep the moisture out and the blade responsive. The emitter itself is a strong central port surrounded by 8 smaller jets to feed the main saber blade.

Switch Assembly - Chunky titanium. No safety buttons, no secondary controls. Just slide to ignite and disengage the weapon. Quick, clean and deadly.

Coupler - Single frag pattern unit. Grippy and engineered for two things, surviving salt water and giving the needed traction to always be the victor.

Main Grip- Heavily tractioned nautical brass with titanium collars. A deep sea treasure in itself, few hilts accessories give this level of combat grip and rugged dependability.

Pommel - Composite titanium paired up with brass components. 8 venting ports at the bottom allow for heat dissipation and cooling for the buoyancy module nested inside.

OPTIONS - This hilt is available in two forms.

Raw Resin Kit - fresh out of the print vat, will need a small amount of sanding(the beauty of resin printing vs pla, incredibly smooth surfaces right off the printer and super easy to sand. I will give it a once-over and remove any small support burns or uneven surfaces so you’re all ready to prime and paint.

Turn around time - Parts are printed per order and average print time per hilt is 12 to 16 hours. Should ship within 7-10 days of order.

OR!

Premiere Display - This piece will be given my utmost level of attention and detail, sanded, primed and painted. It will come with a certificate of authenticity card which will include the Soupcan13 badge of quality as well as my signature and will include its run number(I plan on doing a total of 200 in this run). My painting process includes, all parts deburred and sanded, priming, airbrushing the base coat, applying color coats, masking and applying secondary detail colors, detail painting, black wash/corrosion wash and finally 3 coats of high quality clear coat to protect from chips, scratches and prevent paint from wearing due to handling.

Turn around time - Parts are painted per order and average paint time per hilt is 6 to 8 hours. Should ship within 15-18 days of order.
