Sabers/blasters

Game Over

Game Over

from $95.00

I have a feeling this one is going to be pretty polarizing, but it had to be done, ha ha. The pulse rifle from Aliens has always been one of my favorite movie weapons designs, neck and neck with lightsabers sooooo…sometimes you gotta get a lil peanut butter in your chocolate. I’m pretty sure this is the first saber in history to have an under barrel pump action secondary blade emitter and a removable “magazine” in the pommel(I threw a pair of magnets in there so it has a really cool pulling action when you seat it back in the mag well.) I had a ton of fun designing this and melding the two world together.

CONSTRUCTION/CUSTOMIZATION

All my hilts are designed with a steel threaded rod running down the middle for structural stability as well as working with the emitter/pommel(each have a sunken steel bolt) to combine the unit. The ends twist on, allowing the owner to customize the order of the components, their orientation and swap in new parts at any time down the road.(last pic in gallery shows swapped in parts)

WEIGHT = 11 oz

LENGTH = 13.45 inches

WIDTH = 1.25 inches at its widest

FYI/CYA DISCLAIMER

The following is a fictional break down of the physical features of the hilt. These are the features I envisioned while I was designing it. Sadly the hilt will not actually produce a cutting blade and is made of resin, not metal.)

THE GOODS

Emitter/Shield- This ones a doozy, there’s a lot to unpack here. A main center emitter has a central port surrounded by 9 smaller assisting jets. Directly below this a secondary pump action emitter. Does it fire off a second smaller blade? Some kind of projectile? Increase the intensity of the main blade? I for one don’t want to be recipient finding out.

Switch Assembly - Rocking the classic ammo counter on one side(this was an absolute mandatory design element) The USCM proudly on the other and the ignition button is the USCM badge displayed in gold.

Couplers- Two very simple but efficient ported couplers ride above and below the main grip.

Main Grip- Simple but deadly, groves for traction in “less than optimal condition” solids ergonomics and construction. Built to take a beating and not quit.

Pommel -Unique to this design, the pommel incorporates a magnetized energy cell that can by removed to firmly grabbing the two tabs on on the side and pulling away from the saber.

OPTIONS - This hilt is available in two forms.

Raw Resin Kit - fresh out of the print vat, will need a small amount of sanding(the beauty of resin printing vs pla, incredibly smooth surfaces right off the printer and super easy to sand. I will give it a once-over and remove any small support burns or uneven surfaces so you’re all ready to prime and paint.

Turn around time - Parts are printed per order and average print time per hilt is 12 to 16 hours. Should ship within 7-10 days of order.

OR!

Premiere Display - This piece will be given my utmost level of attention and detail, sanded, primed and painted. It will come with a certificate of authenticity card which will include the Soupcan13 badge of quality as well as my signature and will include its run number(I plan on doing a total of 200 in this run). My painting process includes, all parts deburred and sanded, priming, airbrushing the base coat, applying color coats, masking and applying secondary detail colors, detail painting, black wash/corrosion wash and finally 3 coats of high quality clear coat to protect from chips, scratches and prevent paint from wearing due to handling.

Turn around time - Parts are painted per order and average paint time per hilt is 6 to 8 hours. Should ship within 15-18 days of order.
