I design all my Jewelry in the computer and then have the model printed out in steel, silver or brass. The resulting piece is incredibly well crafted and durable.
Each material has its own attributes.
Steel - Super strong and economical, will not patina or tarnish with time. Can be gold plated.
Brass - Can either be polished or let tarnish. One of my favorite materials, has a very classic look to it. Holds detail very well and is capable of a very smooth finish.
Sterling Silver - Can be polished to a high shine or let patina to a beautiful moodly aged look. Capable of an ultra glass like smoothness but the most expensive option. Holds detail incredibly well.
