The masses has requested the other half of the force to my original crystal box, the dark side has reached out and been satisfied. Identical to my light side box and crystal but instead of bright brass and hopeful blue this version basks in the shadows and is cloaked in copper with crimson red accents and main crystal.

When I designed this set I wanted it to feel both technical and from an unknown future while simultaneously feeling ancient, like it would be right at home on a dusty stone shelf in a holy temple. The lid and corners are adorned with the same material as the crystal, I thought it would be a nice touch to have shards that’s were left over from carving the crystal adorning the box. The crystal can be displayed laying down or upright in the box, dealers choice. The lid flips around and becomes a stand(the four large hex head bolts become feet on the bottom or it can be leaned against the side. The hole through the center of the bottom of the box allows for a light source to illuminate the crystal(light source not included) for these pics I used my ultra scientific and intergalactic bike light but any type of LED light will do the job.

The following is a fictional break down of the physical features of the box and crystal. These are the features I envisioned while I was designing them. Sadly the box/crystal are made of resin, not metal or minerals.)

THE GOODS

Crystal - Ancient, somber, vibrant and the source of power for both the most deadly and destructive weapon in the galaxy. Transparent red, can sit brooding in the shadows or catches lights in waving gradients of blue.

Box - A mix of ancient ritual copper and technology with innards of sleek silver. Slanted ledges hold the crystal in a central position when it’s laid down horizontally and a small hole in the center functions as both a perching point for the crystal to be displayed vertically as well as a method to illuminate the crystal in either position(light not included, any type of light source will light up the crystal and the inner chamber of the box. I would strongly suggest against using flame, electric illumination only)

OPTIONS - This set(crystal and box) are available in two forms.

Raw Resin Kit - fresh out of the print vat, will need a small amount of sanding(the beauty of resin printing vs pla, incredibly smooth surfaces right off the printer and super easy to sand. I will give it a once over and remove any small support burns or uneven surfaces so you’re all ready to prime and paint.

Premiere Display - This piece will be given my utmost level of attention and detail, sanded, primed and painted. It will come with a certificate of authenticity card which will include the Soupcan13 badge of quality as well as my signature and will include its run number(I plan on doing a total of 200 in this run). My painting process includes, all parts deburred and sanded, priming, airbrushing the base coat, applying color coats, masking and applying secondary detail colors, detail painting, black wash/corrosion wash and finally 3 coats of high quality clear coat to protect from chips, scratches and prevent paint from wearing due to handling.
