A couple of weeks ago I was hiking by myself down a river trail where I live when a couple asked me some questions about my camera/lens set up. They were visiting from Kauai, a place I have been to many times, and I ended up hanging out with them for the rest of the day. When we parted ways they shot me a twin pair of shakas and it tripped me out that I’d never seen someone do that hand gesture outside of Hawaii/on a wooded trail. Made me think about how all purpose and awesome it is. Thanks you Kai and Mary for inspiring me to do these. A lil bit woodsy a little bit aloha ;)
